6matches were played in the German top tier with Borrusia Dortmund beating Schalke04 4-0, Hoffeinham were trashed 3 – 0 at home by Hertha Berlin while Dusseldorf and Paderbon ended in a goalless draw.
In other matches, Eintracht lost to Monchengladbach 3 – 1, Wolsburg trash Augsburg 2 – 1 while RB Leibzeg played out a 1 – 1 draw with FC Freiburg.
In their first game for 66 days Dortmund shook off early signs of rust in front of an almost-empty Westfalenstadion to put pressure on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich with Raphael Guerrero scoring a brace.
Games in the league will continue tommorow Sunday with Union Berlin playing host to Bayern Munich.
