Lagos seals churches, guest houses over ‘noise pollution’

The Lagos State Environmental Safety Company (LASEPA) has sealed off a number of institutions throughout the state over alleged noise air pollution.

Services sealed embody church buildings, visitor homes, and a printing press.

In a press release on Wednesday, Babatunde Ajayi, general-manager of LASEPA, mentioned the transfer was in step with making certain compliance with environmental legal guidelines and public well being.

Ajayi mentioned the areas focused have been Ikeja, Mushin, Gbagada, and Maryland.

The LASEPA boss added that the amenities contravened environmental rules regardless of a number of warnings from the company.

Ajayi urged all companies to recognise their environmental tasks and collaborate with the state authorities to make sure a cleaner, extra sustainable Lagos.
