The Niger State Emergency Administration Company (NSEMA) says flooding has destroyed 271 homes and 171 hectares of land in Mokwa and Rijau LGAs of the state.
Ibrahim Hussaini, NSEMA spokesperson, stated torrential rainfall on Saturday precipitated the flooding that affected the Kpashafu group in Mokwa LGA.
