The Nigeria Police Power (NPF) says operatives arrested two suspected political thugs and seized firearms from them throughout in a single day raids in Edo — because the governorship election within the state will get below approach.
In an announcement on Saturday, Muyiwa Adejobi, pressure spokesperson, mentioned the arrests and seizures have been made following a tip-off.
“The Nigeria Police Power has made a major breakthrough in its efforts to curb electoral violence in Edo State with the arrest of two political thugs, particularly: Edwin Obanor, 43-year-old and Audu Tajudeen, a 41-year-old PDP member from Ugbogbo quarters, Igara Akoko, Edo,” the assertion reads.
