Prime media professionals, political and enterprise leaders, diplomats, students, activists, and different key stakeholders will on Friday communicate at a panel dialogue on “The media of the longer term”.
The occasion is a part of the Black futures summit 2024 held alongside the United Nations summit of the longer term, throughout the UN Common Meeting (UNGA) in New York.
Friday’s dialogue with the theme “The Media of the Future: Bridging the hole between the west and other people of African descent,” is organised by World Patriot Newspapers (GPNews).
Panelists embrace Simon Kolawole, the writer of TheCable Newspaper; Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chief government officer (CEO) of the Nigerians in Diaspora Fee (NiDCOM).
Others are Akil Khalfani, director of the Africana Institute, Essex County Faculty, New Jersey; Oyiza Adaba, CEO of AfricaRelated; Yul Anderson, president of the African America Future Society; Toyin Umesiri, CEO of Nazarau; Laolu Akande, editor-in-chief of the Empowered Newswire; and Nicky S. Coker, spokesperson of the everlasting mission of Sierra Leone to the UN.
Based on Simon Ibe, writer/editor-in-chief of World Patriot Newspapers, the dialogue will critically assess the present state of media amongst individuals of African descent in comparison with western media.
Ibe mentioned the dialogue goals to check a really perfect future, supply methods for bridging the present divide, and description steps wanted for African-descended media to succeed in its full potential, benefiting each the group and the worldwide panorama.
