The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has donated “50 tonnes of humanitarian help” to the federal authorities to help these affected by latest floods.
The Nationwide Emergency Administration Company (NEMA) introduced the event in a press release on Sunday.
On September 10, hundreds of residents fled their properties as flood ravaged swathes of Fori, Galtimari, Gwange, and Bulabulin areas of Maiduguri.
The flood occurred as a result of collapse of the Alau Dam which has been at full capability for the previous week.
Bauchi, Bayelsa, Enugu, Jigawa, Kano, Niger, Sokoto, and Zamfara, have additionally been affected by flood just lately.
NEMA mentioned the reduction supplies have been delivered to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Worldwide Airport in Abuja and handed over by Salem Alshamsi, UAE ambassador to Nigeria.
