Otu-ekong Edet receives the newly appointed Chairman of CRS Traditional Rulers Council
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Cheiftancy Affairs, Otu-ekong (Sir) Francis Edet has received the newly appointed Chairman of Cross River State Traditional Rulers Council, HRM Oval (Elder) Solomon Osim Edward JP, Paramount Ruler of Abi Local Government Areas in his office.
The Royal Father who was on a solidarity visit to the SA, Chieftaincy met a warm reception to signal the dawn of a new era.
In his remarks, Sir Edet welcomed HRM Oval Edward and his entourage stating that his visit is timely and exigent to a new beginning in the traditional institution of Cross River State.
Otu-ekong went further to laud the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu on his stand to uphold the sanctity of the laws that established and regulates the Traditional institution in Cross River State.
The newly appointed Chairman of the Cross River Traditional Ruler’s Council ,HRM Oval (Elder) Solomon Osim Edward JP ,Paramount Ruler of Abi Local Government in his solidarity message, expressed profound gratitude to Gov. Otu on his choice of Otu-ekong (Sir) Francis Edet as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs. He mentioned that Sir Francis is a suitable figure with the charisma to sanitize the Department and restore justice, peace, equity and royalty back to the Traditional Rulers Council.
The Royal Father pledged unwavering solidarity to the Government of Cross River State under the watch of Sen. Bassey Edet Otu while scoring the Governor high on his one year in Office.
