Waltz Environmental Solutions Nigeria Limited has embarked on Social Impact Assessment in host communities.
The Assessment is carried out in the three Local Government Areas which form the host communities viz; Odukpani LGA, Akpabuyo LGA and Calabar Municipality.
The Social Impact Assessment became necessary to ascertain the needs of the host communities with an emphasis on the challenges faced by the local dwellers.
The Assessment which is structured in a questionnaire format makes provision for the local dwellers to express how they want their compensation.
It is believed that at the end of the exercise, the symbiotic relationship between Waltz and the host communities will be strengthened and the choice of how their compensations are required shall be explicitly stated for onward usage.
