Project Definite: Gov. Otu commissions project in Calabar Municipality
The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu has commissioned a project under the Project Definite initiative in Calabar Municipality.
The commissioning took place at Eteghe Eteghe in Ikpa Omin Clan of Calabar Municipality.
The Executive Governor of Cross River State Sen. Bassey Edet Otu who was ably represented by Amb. Haruna Warkani in his remarks, lauded the tenacity of Waltz Environmental Solutions in identifying with the host communities in the fight for their inalienable entitlements.
Gov. Otu mentioned that Eteghe Eteghe is a very fortunate Community to witness the maiden commissioning spree in Project Definite. He advised that “though the project is minute but its impact is massive, as water is life and whosoever saves a community from the hassle of sourcing water, is worth celebrating”.
In his remarks, the CEO of Waltz Environmental Solutions Nigeria Limited, Mr Samuel Ekong appreciated the dignitaries on the honour accorded the event. He went further to recount Waltz’s experience in the struggle for host communities right. Mr Ekong advised the residents and indigenes to preserve the project as more are coming in a short while.
The highlight of the event witnessed the commissioning of a Solar-powered Borehole project, avalanche of goodwill messages, photoshoot and exchange of pleasantries.
The event had in attendance, AIG Jonathan Towuru, AIG Zone 6 Calabar, CP Gyogon Grimah, Chief Etim Omin Edim, Village Head of Baccoco, Asadok Ernest Imoh, Chief Etim Essien Eneobong among others.
