One of Four: 365 days of a result-oriented performance

29th day of May has been earmarked by major States in Nigeria to serve as a day to renew, reminisce, reflect, reconsider, rejig and celebrate.

For us in Cross River State, under the reign of Sen. Bassey Edet Otu, it is a day to reflect and celebrate. It is noteworthy that Gov. Otu upon swearing in, swung into action and his tenacious temerity has afforded Cross River State a new era in the following spectra:

Ubanization:
With the State Executive Council approval for suburban roads construction across the three Senatorial Districts with an installation of Traffic lights in Ikom, Ogoja and Yakkur Towns, Gov. Otu’s penchant to urbanize the State is unrelenting.

Agriculture:
In improving the livelihood and productivity of the citizenry, 2000 persons are marked for empowerment in Catfish farming. This will boost middle-level manpower in Livestock farming.

Education:
The prompt payment of Teachers salary serves as an inevitable motivational tool that boosts effective service delivery in the Education Sector.

Infrastructure:
Upon resumption till date , Gov. Otu has effectuated several remedial road projects in Calabar Metropolis. Our roads are wearing a new look with glamorous reconstruction of our major roundabouts.

Sports:
The increment in the take-home package of the Rovers Football Club is a clear testament of Gov. Otu’s commitment to better the welfare of Sports in the State.

With the recently secured $3.5 billion funding from Afrexim Bank there’s going to be a transformation of our infrastructural landscape in soonest.

Let’s keep supporting Gov. Otu!
