Naira Declines at Official Market, Stable at Parallel to N1416/$1, N1,450

The nation’s foreign money, the naira yesterday skilled a decline within the official market whereas it remained secure within the parallel market.

On the Nigerian Autonomous Overseas Trade (NAFEM) window, it closed at N1,421.06/$1, marking a depreciation of N4.49 in comparison with the earlier price of N1,416.57/$1 on Tuesday.

In the meantime, the parallel market closed at N1,450/$1, secure as yesterday.

The each day turnover recorded a rise in transactions of two.47 per cent, to $164.74 million yesterday in comparison with the $160.77 million recorded on Tuesday. 

Moreover, the very best spot price noticed yesterday stood at N1,440, with the bottom spot price recorded at N1,335.
