As a part of efforts to proceed to stay clear and accountable, the Kogi State Authorities has inaugurated the steering committee on the Open Authorities Partnership (OGP) to make sure residents’ participation in governance.
Whereas inaugurating the steering committee on the convention corridor of the workplace of the Secretary to the State Authorities (SSG) in Lokoja final Monday, the SSG, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, defined that transparency and accountability have been the watchwords prior to now eight years of the immediate-past administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.
Ayoade acknowledged that Open Authorities Partnership is a multilateral initiative that goals to safe concrete commitments from nationwide and sub-national Governments to advertise Open Authorities, empower residents, battle corruption and harness new applied sciences to strengthen governance.
She famous that it is a programme that may place Kogi State on the worldwide map within the areas of transparency, accountability and citizen participation.
