The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on the weekend mentioned the Anchor Debtors Scheme within the state has nurtured over 40,000 agripreneurs.
The governor who spoke in Abeokuta through the thirty seventh Lisabi Day celebration, reiterated his administration’s dedication to supporting younger farmers and buyers in land clearing, preparation, and mechanisation for agriculture.
Represented by his Deputy, Mrs. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Abiodun emphasised that the theme of the celebration, ‘’Encouraging Youth Entrepreneurship in Agric Enterprise: Panacea for Fixing Youth Unemployment in Egbaland,’’ aligned together with his dedication to empowering youths for agricultural development.
Abiodun referred to as for intensified efforts in agriculture and allied companies, specializing in youth improvement, at the same time as he highlighted the pivotal function of agriculture within the state’s financial roadmap, contributing to meals safety, job creation, and industrialisation.
