The Goke Dele Basis (GDF) just lately hosted its social sector join programme, aimed toward fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and exploring partnerships to realize larger impression within the social sector.
Themed, ‘Collaborate for Change: Harnessing the Energy of Networks and Partnerships within the NGO Sector’, the programme introduced collectively representatives from 16 completely different Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and featured distinguished facilitators who shared their experience and insights on numerous elements of NGO collaboration and leveraging expertise for social impression.
Among the many facilitators have been an IT Specialist, Mr. Oluwaseyifunmi Afolabi who spoke on the necessity for organisations to maximise using expertise to provoke partnerships and improve collaboration,
Talking on the programme in Lagos, the Secretary Common of the United Nations Affiliation of Nigeria, Dr. Omopeju Afanu and a Enterprise Guide , Mr. Olufisayo Okunsaya, emphasised the significance of NGO collaboration and partnerships in reaching sustainable improvement objectives.
Dr. Afanu, highlighted the important function of collaboration in driving social change, stating, “the long run is for many who are able to collaborate, as no particular person organisation can tackle the advanced challenges we face at present.
