NFF, NWFL Mourn  Passing of Former Falcons Goalkeeper

The Nigeria Soccer Federation (NFF), has described as “very unhappy” the dying on the weekend of former Nigeria U20 Girls Nationwide Crew goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni.

Aluko-Olaseni, who had been battling with most cancers for about eight years, gave up the battle on Friday night.

“We’re very unhappy to listen to of the demise of Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni. It’s disheartening to listen to of the passing of such a younger girl. She had been unwell for some years now however we had been hoping and praying she would get well and nonetheless have the ability to pursue her ardour and dream.

“The NFF and the Nigeria Soccer household are grieved by her dying. Nevertheless, we’re completely satisfied that she took her ardour and dream to a sure stage. Our prayer is that God grants her everlasting relaxation and likewise grant these she has left behind the fortitude to bear the loss,” NFF Common Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi stated on Monday.

 Equally, the board and administration of the Nigeria Girls Soccer League (NWFL)  expressed deep disappointment over the passing of  Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni. 

In an announcement yesterday, NWFL famous that throughout her transient stint as a goalkeeper for the Falconets (Nigeria U20 girls’s staff), Aluko-Olaseni showcased outstanding expertise and unwavering willpower to succeed in the best stage of her profession. 

The previous goalkeeper featured for a number of outstanding golf equipment within the nation, amongst them Sunshine Queens, Ekiti Babes and Rivers Angels.
