The non-public home of the Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr Mariya Mahmoud, has been gutted by fireplace with nothing left to salvage within the property.
The property is situated at No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Shut, Asokoro.
The media aide to the minister, Mr. Austine Elemue, who confirmed the incident Sunday, mentioned the reason for the fireplace outbreak was being investigated.
Response from fireplace fighters to the situation was gradual as the home was fully razed earlier than their arrival.
