Ondo State Governor, Fortunate Aiyedatiwa, has disclosed that he’ll contest the November 2024 governorship election within the state, including that no person desires to be governor for one 12 months,
Talking throughout a tv interview on the weekend, Aiyedatiwa stated he by no means fell out together with his former principal, the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
In December 2023, Aiyedatiwa was sworn in because the substantive governor of Ondo State, following the demise of Akeredolu.
Earlier than Akeredolu’s demise, Aiyedatiwa had been battling impeachment threats from the state Home of Meeting whereas the previous governor was sick.

Through the interview, Aiyedatiwa was requested if he reconciled with Akeredolu earlier than his demise.

“Give me what the structure permits me to do. A minimum of, let me have an opportunity of operating for yet one more time period,” Aiyedatiwa added.
