A former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Fortunate Imasuen, has withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress governorship major election being held in Edo right this moment.
This was based on a withdrawal letter launched on Saturday morning by Imasuen.
Imasuen was one of many 12 governorship aspirants screened and cleared by a committee arrange by the APC Nationwide Working Committee.
In his withdrawal letter addressed to his supporters, Imasuen stated he withdrew from the primaries within the curiosity of peace and unity.
He stated he did so for the reason that celebration management determined to zone the governorship ticket to the Central Senatorial District.
