The Senate on Thursday confirmed the appointment of Mr. Oluwole Adama because the Government Director of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Gasoline Infrastructure Fund Board.
Adama had been nominated by President Bola Tinubu who requested the Senate to substantiate his appointment in keeping with the institution Act of the NMDGIFB.
Tinubu had appointed a Governing Council of the Midstream and Downstream Gasoline Infrastructure Fund to be domiciled within the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
The Minister of State, Petroleum Assets (Gasoline), Mr. Heineken Lokpobiri, was appointed because the council’s Chairman.

The decision of the higher chamber adopted its approval of the advice of the Committee on Gasoline and Petroleum Assets (Downstream) that screened Adama.
Additionally, the Purple Chamber honoured the late Asagba of Asaba, Obi Joseph Edozien, and noticed a minute’s silence.
