The North-East Improvement Fee, on Monday, stated it will set up a waste recycling plant to fight local weather change and environmental degradation.
The plant, the fee stated, would recycle waste supplies akin to disposable plastic containers, plastic bottles and polythene luggage.
The fee’s marketing consultant on waste administration and recycling, Dr Zainab Challube, stated this throughout a five-day coaching on waste recycling in Maiduguri on Monday.
She stated, “The proposal for the institution of the plant is already on the desk. The fee is refining the proposal to facilitate its actualisation.

“We should always quite be taught to recycle waste in the environment to make it liveable.”
She additionally stated the fee was coaching about 100 individuals in recycling waste plastic supplies and different recyclables.
